Gifts for Dads

If your husband is like mine, it can be very difficult to find the right gift for him. My husband isn’t a huge sports fan and doesn’t grill much, so those are too big Father’s Day gift areas that don’t work in my family. The below are what I think are great gift ideas for even the most finicky dads! These gifts for dads would be perfect for lots of dads.

Oral-B® electric Toothbrushes

For the dad who likes to keep up on his looks or look after his health, an Oral-B® electric Toothbrush could be a great and useful gift for the Dad in your life. Two good choices would be the Oral-B® Professional Deep Sweep™ 1000 or the Oral-B® Professional™ Care 3D White 1000 (only available at Target).

Oral-B® Professional Deep Sweep™ 1000

Oral-B® Professional Deep Sweep™ 1000

The Oral-B® Professional Deep Sweep™ 1000 removes up to 100% more plaque (with deep-sweep motion) than a regular manual toothbrush. This electric, rechargeable toothbrush provides triple-cleaning action. An electric brush is also perfect for folks like me (and I am sure for many dads) who tend to brush too hard – I brush so hard that my dentist has recommended that I use an electric toothbrush, since my super-hard brushing is causing my gums to recede – not a good thing!

Oral-B® Professional™ Care 3D White 1000

Oral-B® Professional™ Care 3D White 1000

The Oral-B® Professional™ Care 3D White 1000 (only available at Target) helps prevent and reverse gingivitis for a healthier mouth – which is especially good for the Dad you care about, since gingivitis can lead to tooth loss, and might even be linked to increased risk for heart disease, stroke or lung disease. The rechargeable toothbrush wraps itself around each spot, so Dad can reach even those hard to reach teeth!

The best thing is that the Oral-B® electric toothbrushes can be found at your local Target. Shoppers can get up to $25 in savings on  Oral-B® electric toothbrushes, which can be found online at Target.com, or in Target stores (look for the endcap).

Sennheiser RS120 Over-Ear 926MHz Wireless RF Headphones

If the dad in your life likes to watch movies, regular programs or sports on TV, the Sennheiser RS120 Over-Ear 926MHz Wireless RF Headphones with Charging Cradle might be a good choice for him. With the TV headphones, you can make sure he doesn’t miss on any dialogue or important sports calls during the game –even if the kids are hollering in the background. (Or if his wife is chattering away!) I would like to get these for my husband, since our family room is directly below my kids’ room, and sound from the TV can be heard in their bedroom at night.

Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ Tablet

If your Dad or husband is a big reader or gamer, he might enjoy the Kindle Fire HD 8.9″, Dolby Audio, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 16 GB – Includes Special Offers tablet.
.

I have one, and my husband is often borrowing mine to play a game or two of Angry Birds and to surf the Web. Dad can also keep his magazine subscriptions and favorite reads on his Kindle, so everything is in one place. I love the Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ Tablet because of its large screen size, which is great for people like me with less-than-perfect vision. (It’s also better for watching videos and playing games!)

You can even get $20 off a Kindle Fire now at Amazon by entering the DADSFIRE coupon code at checkout.

Keurig B60 Special Edition Brewing System

If the Dad in your life is like my husband, he may enjoy a Keurig B60 Special Edition Brewing System. I got my husband a Keurig K Cup coffee brewer, and he loves it. He uses  his Keurig coffee maker so much more than our old coffee maker, since he can make a quick single cup of coffee (in the flavor of his choice) before leaving the house – he doesn’t have to make a whole pot. Plus, my kids love to use the Keurig to make hot apple cider and hot chocolate, while I use the Keurig to brew hot tea.

Hopefully at least one of these gift ideas will suit the dad in your life this Father’s Day!
