*I received a promotional item for participation in this campaign. All opinions expressed in this post are 100% my own. I am big about recycling, but I have to admit that when I am cleaning my home's bathrooms, I tend to toss the empty beauty product containers in the trash. (I mean to recycle them, but it's quicker to throw them in the trash.) That's why I am happy to share with you “Rinse. Recycle. Reimagine,” a new Unilever program in partnership with Keep America Beautiful and the Ad Council. The program is designed to educate people about recycling in the bathroom. The #ReimagineThat Continue reading...

“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Kmart & March of Dimes. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.” As a mom of twins who were born two months prematurely, the March of Dimes is a charity I support 100%. Because of the risks involved, my pregnancy was an anxiety-filled one, and my daughters spent one month in the neonatal intensive care unit before coming home. So, I am happy to share that Kmart, the top corporate fundraiser for the March of Dimes, is teaming up with celebrity fitness icon, mom and Kmart ambassador Continue reading...

How to Protect Annuals from Frost
Hi, everyone! I just finished extending my home's front flower bed. In the bed, I planted some pretty spring and summer annuals. I also spread mulch over the sunny perennial garden flower bed that extends along the southern side of my home. I spent more than 6 hours shoveling and spreading mulch! So you can imagine my dismay when I discovered that in the next few days, my area is expected to have flower-killing frost! I spent at least $30 in my annuals and don't want to see that money go to waste! So to protect my flowers, I am following these tips on how to protect annuals from Continue reading...

Monday Favorites (April 20) Link Up Party Picks
It was so beautiful outside yesterday! I spent much of the day doing outdoor tasks -- weeding, cleaning and sweeping the patio and clearing out old sunflower and lily stalks from my perennial garden. I didn't realize how much effort I spent, because I am really wiped out! So today, I am going to sit back, relax, and share the work of some of my favorite blogger contributions to last week's A Little Bit of Everything Link Up Party! I really like the recipe for Buffalo Chicken Crackers from Must Have Mom. I plan to host a few spring/summer parties this year, so I will have to put these on Continue reading...
