Looking to get engaged this holiday season or just searching for vintage or antique jewelry? If you are, I would like to let you know about VintageDiamondRing.com, an online shop that sells beautiful antique, vintage and retro diamond rings and engagement rings. If you are searching for a unique gift or engagement ring this Christmas season, VintageDiamondRing.com is for you!
It’s interesting to see how diamond engagement rings have changed over the years! While many of today’s diamond engagement rings feature a single diamond in a white gold setting, engagement rings of the past have featured multiple diamonds or other gemstones and have been set in yellow gold and platinum.
Take for instance this 14 K Rose Gold Victorian Engagement Ring with a .75 carat Moonstone Diamond. This ring was made in the late 1800s and sells for $750. Yellow gold was quite prominent in jewelry during the Victorian era.
A stunner is this antique engagement ring from the Edwardian era in platinum with two old
European cut diamonds weighting about .60 carat. The filigreed platinum mounting is typical of this time period. (Circa 1920s.) This gorgeous ring is available for $5,000.
This stunning (and super sparkly) Art Deco-era platinum ring crafted in the 1930s features a .79 carat diamond surrounded by eight old European cut diamonds weighing about .35 carat. This gorgeous ring is available for $8,500.
If you like the glam of old Hollywood, you will love this 1940s retro engagement ring with a blue emerald-cut Aquamarine weighing about 1.75 carat. This ring is crafted in 18 Kt yellow gold and is surrounded by 14 single-cut diamond accents. This ring is available for $3,000.
This 1960s vintage platinum dinner ring features an old European-cut diamond weighing about .85 carat. The center diamond is flanked by two bright-white trapezoid-cut diamonds weighing about.80 carat, two tapered baguette diamonds weighing about .40 carat, and 38 old European-cut diamond accents weighing about 2.25 carat. This sparkling beauty is guaranteed to catch just about anyone’s attention! This ring is available for $7,500.
Which ring is your favorite? The ring I fancy the most is the Art Deco ring. I really adore the ring’s shape and the large glittering diamond in the center!

That art deco ring is a beauty!! I haven’t asked Brian to get me jewelry in a long time, but he used to a lot when we were first dating.
