Pampered Chef Molten Lava Cake

For a Valentine’s Day treat for my family, I decided to break out my new Pampered Chef Covered Baker and make a quick chocolate molten lava cake.

The recipe was so easy – all I had to do was follow the directions on my chocolate cake mix (add eggs, oil and water to the cake mix and stir) and then add the cake batter to my Covered Baker.

I then used about half a container of store-bought chocolate icing and placed spoonfuls of the icing on top of my cake batter. I covered my Pampered Chef covered baker, stuck it in the microwave, and microwaved it for 10 minutes.

After the 10 minutes, I then spread the leftover icing on top and served a piece of the chocolate cake to each of my daughters. Within minutes, I served a special Valentine’s Day cake that my kids just loved!

For those of you who don’t have a Pampered Chef Covered Baker, I once used this easy microwave cake recipe in my Corningware Covered Casserole , and it worked just fine.
