Weeknights in my house are hectic. My teen daughters stay after school often for activities. My husband’s work schedule varies. I’m not always sure when everyone will be home. I find it helpful to have easy to prepare foods on hand at home so my daughters and husband can get their dinners out of the fridge and heat it up easily on their own, should we wind up eating at different times.
That’s where LEAN CUISINE® & STOUFFER’S® FIT KITCHEN® entrées come in handy. They are delicious, and my daughters and husband can heat them up easily in the microwave. The entrées also make it simple for me to tailor dinner to my family’s food preferences and needs.
.
I can pick up LEAN CUISINE and STOUFFER’S FIT KITCHEN at my local Walmart, so it’s not hard for me to have dinner ready to go for my family. I find the products in the Convenience Meals frozen food section of the store.
My husband is on a high protein diet and loves Asian cuisine, so STOUFFER’S FIT KITCHEN Teriyaki Chicken Bowl is perfect for him. A 12 oz. STOUFFER’S FIT KITCHEN Teriyaki Chicken Bowl offers 24 grams of protein, no artificial flavors and delicious white meat chicken with rice and vegetables in a savory teriyaki sauce.
My daughters adore mac and cheese. They also prefer to eat meatless food made with organic ingredients, so LEAN CUISINE Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese is a great choice for them. Each 8 ounce box is made with organic ingredients and includes no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and no GMO ingredients. The entrée’s organic cavatappi pasta is paired with a delicious creamy Vermont white cheddar cheese sauce.
It can be a challenge for me to come up with entrees that fit each family member’s needs, so I like how LEAN CUISINE and STOUFFER’S FIT KITCHEN® simplify busy weeknights for me. To complement the entrées, I prepare a salad that I keep in a covered bowl in the fridge. I also like to keep a vegetable tray in the refrigerator. That way, my family can easily supplement their dinners if they like with additional fresh vegetables.
Lately, I’ve been setting our table with a pastel green table runner, pretty floral placemats and orange plaid paper napkins. It doesn’t take a lot of time to make the table look nice, and I think my family appreciates the extra touches — it makes our meals feel extra special.
When we do have the opportunity to sit down for a meal together, it’s fun to mix and match our favorite LEAN CUISINE and STOUFFER’S FIT KITCHEN® entrées.
That way, we can enjoy a meal together without wasting tons of time on meal prep.
Happily, my daughters said the other day that they like sit-down meals with the family. I enjoy the extra time that LEAN CUISINE and STOUFFER’S FIT KITCHEN give me with my husband and daughters.
