The other day, I did some shopping with my spouse and kids. We stopped at Teavana, a delightful shop filled with teas of all sorts, adorable teapots and handy teapot warmers.

I meant only to try the delicious tea samples that the shop had on hand, but before I knew it, my husband was offering to buy me a teapot and teapot warmer, since I am constantly reheating my tea in the microwave daily.
Some tea flavors that I love are chai tea, green tea and Oolong tea.

The store has a variety of teapots for sale that go with Teavana’s teapot warmers. The warmers are fueled by a single tea light that can keep a pot of tea warm. (I guess I now know why those tiny candles are called “tea lights” – I never knew why they were called that before!)
I picked out a green 4-cup Rondo teapot (with removable mesh tea strainer) and a cast iron warmer that Teavana’s website says can keep a pot of tea warm for about an hour. I also picked out four black Japanese-style back teacups that match the cast iron tea warmer. I now have the entire set displayed on my kitchen counter, and the set is fittingly placed (in my opinion) beside a small green planter of potted bamboo.
The shop has a variety of teas (such as green tea, oolong and black), teapots, warmers, rock sugar, honey, teacups and infuser mugs that should make just about any tea enthusiast happy. Next time I stop there I might have to stock up on some new tea flavors!

When I purchased this tea set, I was lokinog for something that came with a case or basket so that it would be kept together easily. I didn’t really realize that the tea set itself is ceramic. My daughter is two and I was concerned that she would be too rough with it and break it. But she LOVES this set! She brings it to me in the basket, helps me set the place settings and lines up her animals for the party. I just started putting a little water in the teapot so that she can practice pouring and sipping tea from her teacup and she is in Seventh Heaven. I think that because the tea set is ceramic, she can experience a new tactile sensation while playing with it. And it is just the right size for her little hands. She will even help me wash the dishes in her play kitchen when we put it away! I am EXTREMELY happy with this tea set and my daughter is, too!
