Welcome to this month’s Taste Creations Linkup blog hop, where we will be sharing our hot drink recipes! The Taste Creations blog hop happens on the 1st Monday of Every Month at 7am PST / 10am EST.
My husband, kids and I enjoyed a nice and quiet Christmas Eve at home this holiday. We used the day to wrap last minute gifts and watch a few holiday movies. For the day, I kept a batch of simple cranberry orange punch in the slow cooker so everyone could enjoy the festive and warm drink throughout the day!
Hot Cranberry Orange Punch Recipe
Ingredients
4 cups orange juice
4 cups cran-raspberry juice (or regular cranberry juice)
4 orange slices
8 cloves
1/4 cup sugar
One handful of cranberries
Instructions
Place the orange juice, cran-raspberry juice, orange slices, cloves, sugar and cranberries in a slow cooker. Stir. Place the lid on slow cooker and set the slow cooker on low for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, serve the warm punch. I like to float some of the slow-cooked cranberries in the punch. Add a fresh orange slice to each glass or mug. You can then set the slow cooker to warm so your family or guests can enjoy extra glasses or mugs of warm punch. Enjoy!
