Beautiful Board and Batten

As a mom, homeowner and blogger, one of my favorite things to do is browse the home improvement, how to and décor projects completed by other mom bloggers. There are some very talented mom bloggers/home improvers out there!

I’ve found some board and batten projects completed by other mom bloggers that I’d love to complete in my home – I’ll have to keep you updated on my progress on replicating these projects at my house! These projects completed by some of my favorite mom bloggers are completely awesome, so I thought I’d share them with you all!

Simple DIY Board and Batten
When it comes to mom blogs, I think one of the best is Thrifty Décor Chick. Sarah has such great décor ideas, and she has decorated and remodeled her home beautifully! In her blog, she shows a gorgeous board and batten project that she has completed. I love it! The colors she uses are exactly what I would like to feature in my home’s living room.

 

At DecorChick.com, Emily has a how to on how to create a paneled wall. I think that tutorial can help me get the board and batten look I want.

 

One board and batten project that I absolutely love is a board and batten living room featured on myblessedlife.net. The living room, with its hardwood floors, and creamy yellow walls with white board and batten, is very close to what I’d love my home’s living room to look like.
