I received Ball® Spring Green Mason Jars for review, but all opinions expressed here are my own.
I love Ball® canning jars, especially the new Spring Green Mason Jars. Earlier this week, I shared how I made fruit and veggie-infused water for my family, a healthy alternative to packaged iced teas and juices. So I am excited that today is International Can-It Forward Day!
Today, Jarden Home Brands will host its first International Can-It Forward Day. The event is taking place at the Brooklyn Hall Farmers Market with special guest, renowned chef and Bravo’s Top Chef Judge, Hugh Acheson!
Throughout the day alternative and fun uses of Ball brand jars will be shared. There will also be a live webcast on http://freshpreserving.com. Check the website throughout the day for canning demos, how-to sessions on crafting and herb gardening, and introductions to Jarden Home Brands’ new drinkware line. Viewer questions will be answered throughout the day by Chef Acheson and other experts.
Tune in to see whether the Guiness World Record for the World’s Largest Mason Jar Mosaic can be broken today at the event!

I have recently started canning, and I LOVE it. I am still gathering all the supplies that I need, and this would be a great addition to my materials. So far I have canned blueberry jam and a few jars of pickles. My organic garden is producing well, so I am sure there will be a lot of canning in the near future 🙂

I have never canned before but have so many tomatoes and zucchini in my garden this year that I want to try stewed tomatoes with zucchini. I also would love to can a vegetable juice. I am a little bummed as I tried to connect this morning to the live webcast but for some reason could not connnect.
