written by Lauren 4 Comments

DIY hammock pad with a pretty royal-blue fringe

Today I am sharing a super easy tutorial for how to create a comfy and protective pad/cover for an outdoor hammock—my husband and kids gifted a hammock and hammock stand for my birthday this year, so I am looking forward to using it! My DIY cover will make it more comfortable and help keep it clean! Sturdy Fabrics for Outdoor Decor I got my outdoor waterproof fabrics and trim from  Fabric Wholesale Direct™. They have a wide selection of fabrics and sewing tools to suit all sorts of fabric projects. My hammock is 144 inches x 51.5 inches, so I ordered 5 yards of each fabric and Continue reading...

Useful Jigsaw Puzzle Tools and Tips

A Day in Bungalowville jigsaw puzzle by Charles Wysocki

My kids love to complete jigsaw puzzles and save them. So I developed a method of gluing the puzzles together by carefully using a foam brush to neatly cover the front of the puzzle with Mod Podge. I then put another piece of cardboard on top, and carefully flip the puzzle over so I can also apply Mod Podge on the back of the puzzle Continue reading...

How to Make DIY Box Cushion & Office Love Seat—An Easy DIY Tutorial

written by Lauren

diy box seat cushion

Thanks to Premier Prints for sponsoring this review. This post contains Amazon affiliate links. A few months ago, I got a cute little loveseat for my home office. My little pup likes to snuggle up with me during the day, and there isn't room for him in my regular office chair. So I got this cute little loveseat from Amazon for the two of us. The only problem is that the mini sofa isn't comfortable enough to sit on for 7-8 hours a day. So I got myself some 3-inch foam that I cut to size to make my own cushion. I got a super cute bird-print fabric by Premiers Prints at ShopFabric.com and Continue reading...
