This weekend, I went to a bridal shower for one of my younger cousins. (Congratulations, Amanda!)
For her shower, there was a wishing well in which each guest was asked to bring a candle for the bride-to-be, since she loves candles. I wanted to do something unique and memorable for Amanda, so I made her monogrammed glass votive holders for candles.
The craft was very easy — to make the monogrammed votives, all I did was pick a font and type the initials for the bride’s and the groom’s first names and an ampersand. I cut the letters out and glued them to the votives with Mod Podge. I then applied Mod Podge as a protective coating on top of the letters, placed Yankee Candle votives in my candle holders, and I was done! Hopefully, Amanda will enjoy the candles with her husband-to-be!
