My family has been a fan of Mrs. Smith’s pies for a long time. My kids love the Classic Apple Pie, while my husband particularly likes Mrs. Smith’s Dutch Apple Pies.
What I love about the pies is that I can pop them in the oven, and within minutes, I have a deliciously warm pie that I can serve to my family.
I recently learned about Mrs. Smith’s Signature Deep Dish pies, and I am excited to try them! What I like about these pies are that they are deep dish, meaning each slice of pie is bigger — and who doesn’t like more pie?
I also like that each pie comes with its own sauce to amp up the flavor. There’s the Signature Deep Dish Apple Pie with Caramel Sauce, the Signature Deep Dish Cherry Pie with Butter Fudge Sauce, the Signature Deep Dish Peach Pie with Cream Cheese Icing and the Signature Deep Dish Pumpkin Pie with Cream Cheese Icing.
I love that the pies come with a sauce — one of my daughters is especially fond of sauces when it comes to desserts, so she will most likely love these pies! Since my family is totally an apple pie family, the first pie that we are going to try is the Signature Deep Dish Apple Pie with Caramel Sauce. And since I already know that Mrs. Smith’s pies are great (I already have one Classic Apple Pie and one Dutch Apple Pie in the freezer), I know that my family will absolutely love the new Signature Deep Dish pies!
The pies are easy to find — my local supermarket carries them, and your local retailers probably do, too.
I think a deep dish pie would be an awesome treat for the frigid weather that we have been having here in the Northeast! For more on Mrs. Smith’s Signature Deep Dish pies, you can check them out on both Facebook and Pinterest. If you try one of the new Signature Deep Dish pies, let me know what you think!
