My Favorite Amazon Home Office Finds

Recently, I have been working on updating my home office. I got most of its finds on Amazon and I thought I’d share them with you!

Flexispot Standing Desk

I added a Flexispot Standing Desk to my home office, and I love it! This standing desk is motorized, so I can easily raise it from a sitting to a standing position with the touch of a button. It’s great because it helps me spend less time sitting while working on my computer. (BTW, if you’re wondering why my office is decorated in a Pooh Bear theme, it’s because it used to be my twins’ baby room, and they love the decor. You could say we’re all sentimentally attached to it!)

I have also discovered that my desk works very well as a sewing table—I recently used it while making a DIY waterproof hammock pad for my new hammock (that was gifted to me from my husband and kids). Since my fabric project was quite large, I found it easier to work while standing with my Flexispot desk set at a high position—that way, I could more easily work the fabric.

I love that I can program the desk to remember my sitting and standing heights! I also like the light wood finish of the desktop and the white metal legs.

I think my project turned out great! I enjoyed my hammock-pad project so much that I might do more sewing projects on my Flexispot desk.

Soundcore Noise Canceling Headphones

I like to work outside sometimes when the weather is nice—that’s when my new Noise Cancelling Headphones from Soundcore come in handy. They can block out background noise, making it so much easier to work, even when my surroundings aren’t exactly quiet. I can also pair my headphones to my iPhone for calls and to listen to music.

I also recently discovered that I can pair my headphones with my Amazon Fire Stick—it came in handy recently when a neighbor held a super-loud party for over 12 hours. I was so happy to stream some of my favorite shows on my TV and watch them without hearing the jarringly loud noise from the party.

Storage Footrest

It just so happens that shortly after I got my standing desk, I broke my ankle! Even though I broke it a few years ago now, it still swells from time to time. So I like to put it up now and then. So I got the Seville Classics Foldable Storage Footrest—that way, when my ankle starts to hurt, I can elevate it. The storage ottoman is attractive, sturdy and comfortable, and holds a lot of my extra office stuff, so it works just perfectly! I love the deep color of the ottoman, too. I’ve had it for a few years now and it still looks great.

Office sofa

My lShih Tzu loves sitting next to me while I work. So I got us an inexpensive loveseat from Amazon so we can sit there together. He likes to snuggle up against me—which I adore! The sofa looks great and is comfortable too. I like the soft upholstery and the tufted detailing on the backrest.

Walking Pad

I also have an awesome walking pad in my office that my husband and kids gifted me. I was hoping to walk on it while I work, but I am not that coordinated! I nearly fell off of it at least two times! I haven’t been using it as much as I should lately, but, I plan to allow myself at least 30 minutes a day on it; it’ll be a great excuse to catch up on my favorite Netflix programs!
