Now that my daughters are in high school, our mornings are hectic. To get out the door on time, they need to eat breakfast before 6:30 a.m. My husband has to leave for work early, too. I do what I can to get everyone out the door on time. If your family is like mine, you know it can be tough to get everyone to sit down for breakfast. I’ve found a few ways to make our mornings run smoothly.
Serve a Quick & Delicious Breakfast
If I can get a tasty meal on the table in minutes, nobody will skip breakfast! Smithfield Breakfast Sandwiches have really improved my family’s routine.
The fully cooked and individually wrapped Smithfield breakfast sandwiches take seconds to heat in the microwave and come in three varieties: Hometown Original, Maple and Chicken Country Recipe. They taste great! I love that the biscuits are made from real buttermilk. Yummy!
Set the Table
I like to set a pretty table even for everyday meals in my house. It helps get everyone to the table and makes the meal more enjoyable.
It’s helpful and fun to put the morning’s selections on a chalkboard menu (mine is currently a holiday sled) on the kitchen table.
Get a Head Start
It’s beneficial to start the day a beat or two ahead of my family — getting up just 10 to 15 minutes earlier helps. I can get breakfast started and enjoy a warm cup of tea before the rush starts.
Set a Schedule
Serving breakfast the same time Monday-Friday helps. Everyone knows when it’s time to eat, and I don’t have to work to get everyone to the table.
Add Fixins’
I love juice, my kids adore fruit and my husband prefers coffee, so I include all those options on the breakfast table. I like to make everyone happy!
Smithfield® breakfast sandwiches make mornings much more pleasant. That’s why they’re part of my essential grocery items for the week. Walmart now makes it so easy to get your groceries and go with their Online Grocery Pickup.
I simply use the Walmart Grocery Shopping app on my phone.
I put what I need in my online cart, set a day and time for pickup at Walmart and place my order!
Walmart sends a text when my order is ready. To pick up, I just drive to the pickup area at Walmart, and an associate puts my order in the trunk for me. Easy!
Smithfield breakfast sandwiches are a delicious tradition in my home — my daughters like to heat the sandwiches up as a snack when they come from school. I always have Smithfield breakfast sandwiches waiting in the freezer!
