I love tea and recently found the most beautiful tea set! I got my set from UmiTeaSets.com, which offers a wonderful assortment of teas, tea sets, and teapots. I love that my kiln-glazed tea set comes with its own ceramic tea strainer, which to me, is a lot nicer than using a metal one. I recently made a cup of tea with it, but I cheated and used leaves from a teabag that I poured into the strainer—I need to get some real loose tea, which would be better-suited for the strainer. I am looking forward to using some quality tea leaves! I am thinking of ordering a nice green tea for my tea set.
I think the wood handles on my new teapot are great—I like their minimal look, and they really do offer a cool spot to grasp the teapot. After I enjoy my tea, the set has a travel bag that I can stack my tea cups in, and then slip them into the teapot and into the handy carrying case for storage. It’s really a nice set!
