Recipe for making easy spritz cookies for Christmas!

My daughters and I love baking together, and what couldn’t be more fun than baking Christmas cookies! This year, I decided to finally use my cookie press from Pampered Chef! Spritz cookies are traditional buttery Christmas cookies that are squeezed into shapes using a cookie press.

The Pampered Chef cookie chef is perfect for making Christmas cookies!

It turns out that I purchased my Pampered Chef cookie press a few years ago, and then forgot about it! (If you don’t have a Pampered Chef consultant near you, I’ve heard that Oxo’s cookie press  is also pretty good.)

I was so excited when I found my cookie press! The press comes with several discs that can be inserted into the press to make cookies of all shapes and sizes. A cookie press is a super fun way to make Christmas cookies!

My cookie press with came with a recipe for spritz cookies that was really simple to follow — it just took me a couple of tries to get the hang of squeezing the cookie shapes out of my cookie press. The first few times I rotated my press too many times and squeezed out too much dough onto my cookie sheet!

I also have a new oven that heats up very well — Pampered Chef’s spritz cookie recipe calls for baking the cookies at 375 degrees, but in my oven, the cookies baked perfectly when I baked them for only 5 minutes at 350 degrees. I’m sharing the Pampered Chef spritz cookies recipe below — watch your first batch of cookies carefully to make sure the time and temperature specified works for your oven.

I used my KitchenAid Mixer to mix up my dough — my KitchenAid makes preparing all my baking recipes so much easier! I added a few drops of green food coloring to my dough for the Christmas tree cookies, and a few drops of yellow to the dough for my swirl-shaped cookies. (I split my dough into two batches.)

I love using my KitchenAid mixer for making cookie dough!
Cookies & Bigelow Tea

I made several batches of my spritz cookies, so halfway through baking, I had to try some! I am a big tea drinker, so I decided to make myself a cup of Bigelow tea! Bigelow has several flavors of tea that goes perfectly with the holidays, like Cinnamon Stick, Pumpkin Spice, Salted Caramel, and the classic, Constant Comment.

I love a warm mug of Bigelow Constant Comment tea! #meandmytea

I chose to enjoy some of my spritz cookie with a pretty mug of Constant Comment.

I love a cup of orange flavored back tea (Bigelow's Constant Comment tea) with Christmas spritz cookies!

I love how the tea is flavored with orange rind and spices. It reminds me of Christmas!

I like to get stocking stuffers at my local Walmart — my kids love candy and school supplies. I was able to find a new box of Bigelow Constant Comment in the tea and coffee aisle, right at the front of the store!

I like to buy my tea at Walmart, including my Bigelow Constant Comment!
