I love decorating my home Christmas. I adore seeing how my friends have decorated their homes, too! I’m excited to be joining a wonderful group of bloggers in sharing our homes as part of the Christmas Tour of Homes. Each day several bloggers will be sharing their Christmas homes. Check each day this week to see all the beautifully decorated homes!

My Christmas Decor

In my home, Christmas tradition is important to us, so we often use some of the same Christmas decor year after year. But each year, I do tweak the decor a little and add some new elements, too!

This year I added a DIY Christmas curio/shadow box to my Christmas decor. I really like sweet little Christmas miniatures/figurines, and my new display box gives me a place to show them off! I made my DIY Christmas display box from a bamboo drawer organizer that I spray painted white. It was a quick and easy project.

I love how my spray painted drawer organizer turned Christmas shadow and curio box turned out! It gives me a fun place to display lots of fun Christmas miniature figurines. There are so many cute ones at the craft store.
I also like decorating with holiday items that have special meaning to me. This monogrammed Christmas snowflake tin was given to me by my blogging BFF, Carrie of Curly Crafty Mom

Also on the console table are some beautiful mercury glass votive candle holders that I picked up a year or two ago. The speckled silver of the candle holders really remind me of Christmas and Christmas snow.

I like the combination of the candles and the whites on my Christmas console table.

To complement the whites and snowy look of the console table, my family and I have a white Christmas tree in our living room. (We put up a  regular evergreen tree in our family room.)

Holiday Coffee Bar

A favorite spot in our home during the Christmas season is my family’s coffee bar. We use our Keurig coffee maker for everything from brewing coffee, to making spiced and herbal teas (I adore chai tea), to serving hot chocolate and hot apple cider.

During the holidays I swap out our regular coffee cups for some seasonal mugs and inexpensive holiday decor. I like using the brightly colored cookie cutters I picked up a few years ago as decorations.

Christmas Tablescape

New Christmas decor in my home this year includes a white cake stand that I placed on my home’s kitchen table. I’ve been enjoying decorating the stand with Christmas decor. This is how the stand looked recently — I’ve been known to tweak it often!

Finally, in my home’s living room, we have our family’s main Christmas tree. On that tree are the decorations we’ve decorated throughout the years, including ornaments that my husband has gifted me and my daughters. (He likes to give us new ornaments every Christmas.)
