Happy Friday, everyone!
I am so glad that summer is here! My kids spent their first week of summer vacation at all-day summer camp, but next week they will be home, so I am so looking forward to spending next week with them! My daughters are transitioning into middle school next year, and are now tweens, so I want to make sure that we spend a lot of fun quality time together this summer while they still enjoy spending time with their mom! This morning, I brainstormed some fun summer activities that my kids and I can enjoy together — my summer bucket list!
Summer Bucket List
For the first time ever, I got season passes for my family for the local Six Flags amusement and water park. So, on my summer bucket list is taking my kids to the amusement park and water park! I am hoping we can spend time splashing on the water slides, riding the rides and playing the arcade games!
I love the outdoors, so I would like to go on fun walks in the woods, spend days at the park and ride our bikes! When we stay at home, we can always occupy ourselves with tossing water balloons, making s’mores and catching fireflies — things my kids always love to do!
My kids and I have never camped together, so maybe we can camp in the backyard some nights! And my daughters and I just LOVE movies, so for rainy days, I know we’ll be popping up some popcorn and settling in on the couch for a good movie!
I can’t wait to spend the summer with my kids! What is on your summer bucket list?

Great list! I made my summer bucket list this week too! I LOVE the idea of camping out in the backyard for a free “vacation”. I know my daughter would love that idea!
