Easy Fall Bandana Wreath
Earlier this year, I created a colorful summer bandana wreath with bandanas from BurlapFabric.com. I loved how that wreath came out. Plus, since I had plenty of bandanas left over from the project, I decided to use the bandanas that were left for a fall wreath. (I used all that was left except for some pink and gray bandanas.) This wreath is so easy that it can be put together in only about an hour.
Fall Bandana Wreath Supplies
15 colorful bandanas — I used 5 different colors for the bandanas (I got 3 packs of bandanas from BurlapFabric.com. From the packs, I was able to get three of each color bandana.)
Wreath embellishments of your choice (I chose faux flowers and a fabric butterfly)
How to Make a Fall Bandana Wreath
I got my bandanas from BurlapFabric.com. They sell 12-packs of quality, 100% cotton paisley bandanas at a great price. (They also sell burlap fabric and ribbon that work perfectly for any number of projects.)
To get started, fold each bandana into thirds. Cut each bandana into three equal parts. Fold a bandana strip into a loop and place the loop under the wreath form.
I found that the wreath looks best when the loops are tied on with the curved up portion of the wire wreath form facing up, not down.
Take the ends of the loop and pull them through the looped portion of your bandana loop. Pull tightly.
This is a closer look at how to tie on a bandana loop.
Repeat until all the bandanas are tied on the wreath in a pattern of your choice. If you like, you can also hot glue some accents onto your wreath. I added two floral elements and a fabric butterfly.
I love how my new bandana wreath gives a fun fall look to my home’s front door!

Oh, my gosh this is cute!!! I had no idea bandanas were available in such a wide range of colors. Love the warmth of this wreath. And the color of your door. Does it really say ‘hello’ or is that text on your photo? Either way, very cute!!

I do not believe those bandanas fade easily, do they? How cute they would be hanging on the walls at a western party.
Lauren says
Not sure! Things fade really quickly on my front door — strong sun! (The door faces east.)
