Happy Monday, everyone! It’s hard to believe that Valentine’s Day is less than a month away! This new year has been flying! Today I’m getting together with some blogging friends to co-host our Valentine’s Day Holiday Craftacular! Be sure to visit my friends’ tutorials and home tours on their blogs today — I’ll be sharing the links to their projects toward the end of this post!
Valentine Heart Wreath
I decided it’s about time I took down my Christmas wreath. I wanted to put up a Valentine’s Day wreath, but I didn’t own one! So I decided to make my own. I started out by repurposing an old grapevine wreath that I had stored in my home’s basement.
For the decorative part of my wreath, I used leftover felt heart favors from the June bridal shower that I held for my sister. I stuffed my felt hearts with potpourri, but you could stuff your hearts with fabric scraps or pillow stuffing. (Check out this post for more details on how I made my stuffed hearts.)
As you can see, I hand-sewed a lot of stuffed hearts for my sister’s bridal shower! But, I have to admit that making these stuffed Valentine’s Day hearts is super easy! (Check this tutorial to get the full instructions for these felt hearts.)
Once I located my basket of leftover bridal shower felt heart favors, all was left to do was hot glue them to my grapevine wreath with my trusty glue gun! (This step took very little time!)
I really like how this wreath turned out! Much of my wreath is repurposed, but it’s a Valentine’s Day wreath that’s quick and simple to put together even if you have to make the stuffed felt hearts!

I love the idea of a valentine wreath!!! After taking off decorations from December’s holidays, it seems like my house is kind of empty. This is a great idea to keep up the spirit of love and happiness.

Thanks, Nyeli! That’s the same way I felt! It’s so sad taking down the Christmas decor!
