Now that my kid are tweens, I’ve found it tougher to find gifts for them that will go the distance. You know, gifts that will be liked and used for more than just a few days. (Tweens can be fickle!) So this year, I’ve already gifted them with the Oral-B Pro-Health 3000, and they love it!

Healthy Christmas Gift for Kids

This year I started a new tradition: For the 25 days leading up to Christmas, I let each daughter unwrap a gift. Each gift is marked with how many days there are until Christmas. The Oral-B Pro-Health 3000 is a great gift for my tweens. They both got braces the beginning of the school year, and keeping their teeth clean (with the braces) is tougher! My tweens are conscientious about keeping their teeth healthy, and have been told by their orthodontist that not keeping up with their brushing while they have their braces could cause permanent dental problems! I like that the Oral-B Pro-Health 3000 has a case in its base to store  extra brush heads — which is helpful since my daughters share their Oral-B Pro-Health 3000. The case gives them a place to store their brush heads. I like how the Oral-B Pro-Health 3000’s pressure sensor can tell if my kids are brushing too hard and stops pulsations for proper pressure. (My gums have receded over the years from brushing too hard, and I don’t want that to happen to my kids!) The color on each brush head’s indicator bristle fades away when a brush head needs replacing. I tend to have “momnesia” (memory loss due to mom fatigue), so those indicator bristles come in handy! LOL.
