Now that it’s December, Christmas is almost here! With the holidays quickly approaching, I’ve been looking for fun and delicious recipes to serve to family and friends. One new recipe I came upon recently is a holiday snowman cheese ball platter with RITZ Crackers. This platter is as delicious as it is cute! My recipe was inspired by an adorable snowman cheese ball recipe I found on Pinterest.
The snowman cheese ball recipe is really easy to put together, but I am sure it will wow friends and family. A big plus is that this dish doesn’t require many ingredients — you can put this fun dish together quickly.
This snowman cheese ball recipe is perfect for holiday parties, or to serve as a treat for your family to enjoy while decorating the Christmas tree!
Snowman Cheese Ball Recipe
Ingredients
2 8 oz. packages of cream cheese
1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped chipotle pepper or roasted red pepper (I used chipotle pepper)
Whole Peppercorns, cloves or black sprinkles for eyes and buttons
Small shred of carrot for nose
Sprinkling of colorful sprinkles (for decoration)
RITZ Crackers
I found all the ingredients I needed for my snowman holiday platter at Walmart.
I found the RITZ Crackers in the aisle where crackers are sold.
Directions
Form a round ball of cream cheese, with the chipotle peppers in the center. (This will be the base of the snowman.) Roll the ball in the shredded pepper jack cheese. Place this ball of cheese in the center of a large dish or platter.
Use the rest of the cream cheese to form a smaller ball of cream cheese. Also roll this ball in the shredded cheese. Place this smaller ball of cheese on top of the larger ball of cheese.
Use whole peppercorns, sprinkles or cloves (whatever you have on hand) to form the snowman’s eyes and buttons. Use a sliver of carrot for the snowman’s nose. Scatter colorful sprinkles over top of the snowman. Encircle the snowman with RITZ Crackers. Present the snowman on a plate with a knife for spreading the cream cheese mixture on the RITZ Crackers.

This is SO cute! I have never ever seen a Snowman cheese ball, but what a perfect idea! Brian’s cousin always makes cheeseballs for our family gatherings, I should show this to her!
