Welcome to the 12 Months of Wreaths blog hop!

Today my blogging friends and I will each be sharing a DIY homemade wreath for the holiday season. Since the holiday season can be so rushed and busy, I decided to simplify things for my own wreath. I went with a simple natural/bohemian look that I crafted with just a few things from my local dollar store. For my wreath, I combined the idea of a traditional ivy/grapevine wreath with a dreamcatcher look to create a calm, simple wreath for the Christmas season.

My blogging friends are all sharing beautiful handcrafted wreaths today, so be sure to stop by their blogs today to see how to make their wreaths!

Lace and Ivy Boho Christmas Wreath Tutorial

Supplies for an ivy and lace boho wreath for the winter and Christmas holidays

Supplies

Grapevine Wreath

5 Glittery Gold Pine Cones

6 Yards Lace Ribbon

Strand of Faux Ivy

Glue Gun

Hot Glue

Scrap of burlap ribbon for bow

Directions

This wreath couldn’t be simpler to make. All I did was wrap the strand of ivy across the grapevine wreath to give it a dreamcatcher look and feel. I then hot glued on some glittery gold pine cones. I cut a few strands of the lace (making the pieces on the ends longer than then ones in the center) and tied them onto the bottom of the wreath. I used a scrap I had of burlap ribbon to tie on a simple bow, and I was done!

This neutral/natural wreath looks great hung on an interior door in my home’s living room (as shown in the photo at the top of this post) or on my home’s front door. It’s very versatile!

This is one of my favorite wreaths you’ve done, Lauren! I love the outdoorsy/nature look of it and the boho vibe with the lace strands! So pretty!
