However, the pond is seasonal so it may not always be available for your pup to play in. There are lots of other amenities to enjoy in this park, including the fully fenced park with a dedicated space for small and shy dogs to play safely. I appreciate this because as the owner of a small Shih Tzu, I prefer that he plays with dogs more his size.
The surface of the park is mainly covered with dirt and gravel but still presents a comfortable surface.
You’ll get to enjoy the picnic tables and benches. There are also poop bags around with waste bins to ensure you keep the area clean.
It gets even better, with a water fountain available for your doggo to stay dehydrated while playing. Aside from the fun park with gated entry into each of the areas to ensure the safety of your pups, the whole park has many other features like a nice trail for a walk.

Looking for a dog park that gives you a lot of freedom? Visit Fossil Creek Dog Park and enjoy some nice sculptured pieces while your dog plays in the dedicated playground.
Fossil Creek Dog Park is located within Fossil Creek park with a dedicated off leash dog space that is about three-quarters of an acre. It’s also fully fenced with separate sections for small and large dogs.
The park is easy to access and features good parking with wood chirps on the surface providing some sort of protection against murkiness even after a snowfall.
Fossil Creek God Park has a lot of activities like trails, and fields for baseball, ice skating parks and a whole lot more. There’s just so much you can do while your dog is having the time of their life in the fenced park.
Outside the dedicated area is a 100-acre fossil park that’s so much fun you won’t want to leave, with tennis courts, fields and picnic spots.
Twin Silo Dog Park

You’ll see a drinking fountain by the main gate for you and your pup to stay hydrated. There’s also the rules and regulations of the park posted right at the entrance there.
Twin Silo Dog Park has benches but little shade that protects you from the sun while you wait. The bathrooms are also well maintained and clean. Poop bags are available so you can clean up after your furry companion.

Soft Gold Dog Park is another off-leash dog park in Fort Collins stretching 1-acre of land. The space is wide and open, which allows your dog to enjoy a fun-filled run around with other pups.
There are a few benches and trees around that provide shade. And while the park is spacious and simple, it lacks a lot of amenities. Visitors like it for its simplicity and general accessibility. However, adjacent parking is not available here.
It is perfect if it is close to you or you’re just looking for a simple park with grass to enjoy. Seeing that there’s minimal shade here, visiting early and when the sun is setting may be best.
It is large enough for you and your pup to explore all day with trails around for a walk if you decide to hike.
