Welcome to the February Pinterest Challenge Blog Hop! The purpose of this hop is to motivate us to not just hoard pins, but to make it happen! For this month’s challenge, I decided to tackle a quick fix for my home’s kitchen with Peel and Stick 12-Inch Vinyl Tile. The tile shown below is similar to the tile I used.

We’ve owned our home for about 15 years, and over the years, the bottom of the cabinet under the sink has started to look not it’s best. I decided to finally tackle a Pinterest project I’ve pinned a long time ago — tiling the bottom of the cabinet with inexpensive Peel and Stick 12-Inch Vinyl Tile tile. I picked a neutral travertine style tile.

How to Tile Under the Sink

This is what the area under my home’s kitchen sink looked like before my project.

Didn’t it look terrible?

This is what the area under the sink looked like after installing four Peel and Stick 12-Inch Vinyl Tiles at less than $1 each.

I cut the tile to size with simple everyday scissorss.

I might finish the space out by tiling around the pipes with the extra tile that I have. (That will require some trickier cuts.)  In all, this is a simple and inexpensive project that makes a big difference.

I have this project pinned too! Under your sink looks great now. The tiles really helped. I just need to get around to doing it to ours.

I’ve done this before and it makes such a huge difference when you wipe down the inside of the cabinets. It also helped when one of our pipes leaked too.

I used the peel and stick tiles in my pantry as it had the wire shelving. I was tired of things falling through or down. Never thought about using under the sink! I still have some tiles left (somewhere) to use! Great idea! Pinned!

Thank you for sharing the great article with us. In recent years, blue and especially grey seems to have mushroomed overnight. Now there appears to be trend for combining two shades of the same colour within the same kitchen units.
