Welcome to the final day of the 12 Days of Holiday Ideas blog hop! Today, my blogging friends and I will be sharing our Christmas trees! I have to admit that I don’t have a traditional tree up yet this year. But on my living room console table I do have a decorative metal Christmas Ornament Tree up.
Some years I take the tree down on Christmas, but some years – like this one – I keep it up all year! Why is that? It’s because the tree holds the beautiful heart ornaments that my husband has gifted me throughout the years. I think the ornaments are pretty enough to enjoy year round!
Between Nov. 11th and today there have been hundreds of new ideas shared by over 55 Co-host bloggers! Christmas Heart Ornament Tradition
My husband has been gifting me with heart ornaments ever since I can remember. I don’t know for sure, but I am pretty sure he has given me at least one heart ornament every year we’ve been married. I used to hang them with our other ornaments on our regular Christmas tree. But one year he also gifted me the beautiful metal ornament tree that you see above. Since then, I hang most of my heart ornaments there. But I confess that I have so many heart ornaments now that they don’t all fit!
My husband does a wonderful job of finding a wide variety of heart ornaments for me. He knows that I love beautiful glass art, so many of my heart ornaments are made of glass. I love how the morning light bounces off the pretty heart ornaments.
Below is one of the beautiful glass ornaments my husband has given me. I really like the pretty swirls of color in this ornament.
I like this sweet cloisonné butterfly heart ornament that my husband found.
The red of this sweet heart ornament is extra pretty.
I think the polka dots on this ornament are cute!

Darling heart tree idea. And love that it looks like it can be moved around from spot to spot!

What a lovely tradition that your husband has created! I love all your heart ornaments and that ornament tree as well. The cool thing is… you won’t have to put it away after the holidays. You can leave it up as part of your Valentine’s Day decor. 🙂
