Terez & Honor Eye Patch Review

As someone with sensitive, dry skin, I have to be very careful about the beauty products I use. I recently gave the viral Terez & Honor caffeine eye patches a try and love them! These hypoallergenic moisturizing patches are gentle to my face, moisturize my skin and even lighten the dark eye circles that I’ve had nearly all my life. Amazing!

Caffeine & Hyaluronic Acid Gel Eye Patches

Filled with 100% Natural Arabica coffee-eerived caffeine, the Terez & Honor eye patches literally wake up my eyes, minimizing puffiness, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and lightening my under-eye area. Its hyaluronic acid is an ingredient that is known to enhance skin elasticity and plumpness. I was surprised that even after my first use of the patches, my skin looked much more hydrated and less dry. And my skin tends to be quite dry! As someone who is very careful about the products I use on my skin, I was very happy to learn that these patches are alcohol, silicone, paraben, mineral oil and sulfate free.

Soothing TLC

The patches also calm my sensitive skin and have a cooling effect. I love to wear them as a treat after a long day. For instance, I like to put on a pair, and stream a fun series—lately I’ve been watching “Younger,” about a 40-something mom who fibs about her age, transforming herself into a faux 20-something-year-old to land a New York City publishing job. It’s an appropriate show to watch while wearing the patches since they make my skin look more youthful!

The patches come with a little plastic paddle that I use to carefully lift a pair of patches out of the jar—they are a bit slippery! To apply them, I lightly press them against my skin and then let them sit on my face for about 20 minutes. I know it’s time to take them off when the patches start to feel dry, meaning my skin has absorbed all their hydrating goodness! The patches literally shrivel up once my skin has soaked up all the hydration! While I write this, I literally want to put on another pair—but I already wore them today, so I will make myself wait until tomorrow!

I appreciate the patches’ affordability, especially when compared to other facial moisturizing products—a jar of 30 pairs is now about $17 at Amazon, which is only about 57 cents a pair. So I can indulge myself without feeling guilty! But I am thinking of subscribing to them and having them auto-delivered either directly from Terez & Honor or from Amazon to see some savings.

I was confused at first about how to put them on—I didn’t known whether to apply them with the skinny side facing in or out. So I watched a few user videos, and learned that there isn’t only one way to put them on. They can be used to target problem areas. I generally put them on under my eyes with the skinny part reaching toward the inner corners of my eyes—that way, they can moisturize my fine “crow’s feet” lines at the outer corners of my eyes. I am also going to try them on my forehead to work on the lines there. I also want to give them a go on my smile lines.

As someone who often skips moisturizing at night because I am just too tired and want to quickly climb under the covers and get some rest—I know, I really shouldn’t do that!—these eye patches are awesome! I can even slip on a pair while I’m working on my computer. They might just be one of the easiest and most rewarding beauty products I’ve tried in a while.
