I am not much of a football fan, but I LOVE Super Bowl parties! Super Bowl parties are a great excuse to get together with friends, to eat, and to whip up some delicious appetizers and dishes!
I’ve been on the hunt for great recipes to serve on the big day! Here at Mom Home Guide I co-host the Craft Frenzy Friday and Motivation Monday linky parties. So many delicious recipes are linked up at those linkups every week, so I decided to take inspiration from those parties for some dishes that would be great to serve at a Super Bowl party! So, if you’re ready for some football — or just some good food — check out these recipes!
Loaded Potato Skins
You can’t go wrong with loaded potato skins, so I think that Must Have Mom’s Cheddar & Bacon Potato Skins recipe would be an ideal dish to serve on the big day. Her potatoes are topped with bacon, scallions, cheese, sour cream and chives — what’s not to love! Her recipe has beautiful detail on how to make these perfect potato skins!
Parmesan Chicken Corn Chowder
During winter parties, I think it’s always nice to have a slow cooker filled with a warm soup or chowder for one’s guests. I think The Frugal Foodie Mama’s Parmesan Chicken Corn Chowder would be a wonderful main dish to serve on Super Bowl Sunday for the big game!
Asian BBQ Pork Taco Boats
The sweet and savory BBQ Pork Taco Boats by Lemons for Lulu are sure to be a hit! The boats are topped with cucumber, carrots, and cilantro and drizzled a spicy Sriracha mayonnaise. Yum!
Pizza Dip
This pizza dip made by Embellishmints, made with roasted peppers, pizza sauce, olives, pepperoni and cheese, sure sounds good! I bet it would be eaten up quickly at any Super Bowl party!
Homemade Queso Dip
I love queso, so I know I will be making the homemade queso dip recipe by Little House Living. The dip is flavored with jalepenos, garlic, onions, tomatoes, sour cream and a mix of cheeses. I always buy my queso at a local Mexican food takeout place, but it looks like I’ll be making my own from now on!
Chocolate Fudge Football Brownie
The chocolate fudge football brownie by The Frugal Foodie Mama is an excellent way to top off any game day Super Bowl party! I just love how this brownie is decorated! This football brownie is made with a boxed mix and purchased icing, so it should be really quick to put together for a party!
Link Up!
Craft Frenzy Friday launches Thursday evenings here at Mom Home Guide, and Motivation Monday publishes on Sunday evenings. Be sure to link up your crafts, projects and recipes! I will be featuring special roundups of my favorite projects from those parties here every Wednesday. Features are also highlighted in the following week’s Craft Frenzy Friday and Motivation Monday linky parties.
