Thanks to Amara.com for providing me with the duvet cover and pillowcases featured in this review. (I received product in exchange for my review.) All opinions expressed in this post are 100% my own.

farmhouse style bedroom with arched slatted bed and forsythia gray and yellow bedding

In May, when I set my monthly goal for the month, I said that I wanted to refresh my home’s master bedroom with new spring/summer decor. I am glad to say that I have accomplished that goal!

This is what my home’s master bedroom looked like before I re-styled it for spring.

I collaborated with Amara.com to style my kitchen’s farmhouse table for Easter. I love how my Easter table turned out!

New Spring & Summer Bedroom Decor

When I decided to add new spring and summer decor to my home’s master bedroom, I reached out to Amara.com, an online marketplace for luxury homeware. I love the variety of items on Amara — they have beautiful decor for every room. Amara was kind of enough to work with me.

I was hoping to find a duvet cover in yellow and gray, since I love that color combination. So, I was thrilled to find the Wisteria Blossom collection on Amara.com. I chose the Wisteria Blossom King Duvet Cover and two Wisteria Blossom Oxford Pillowcases.

The beautiful muted gray and yellow print of the bedspread and pillowcases are handpainted on 100% canvas cotton. They bed linens are also machine washable, which is a must for me.

I love that the duvet cover has a coordinating yellow and gray fretwork pattern on the opposite side. If I want a different look for the bedroom, I can just flip the duvet to feature the geometric pattern on the opposite side. You can see both patterns of the duvet cover in the below photo.

A plus is that the Wisteria Bloom print coordinates well with the throw pillows that came with my previous bedspread. (I actually covered that bedspread, a Samara coverlet set, with the duvet cover.)

Bedroom Floral Touches

In March I made a burlap and faux forsythia wreath for my home’s front door. I thought the blue and yellow of the wreath would go with the new bed linens, so I hung the wreath above the bed in my home’s master bedroom.

I also found a really cute farmhouse-style vase when out shopping last week, so I added some faux flowers to the vase and placed it on my bed stand.

Hope you like my master bedroom’s new look!
