Last month, I completed a Rolife Super Creator Cozy Living Lounge mini house—my first DIY miniature kit! I had so much fun putting the beautiful DIY miniature kit together. The finished scene was so adorable, that I knew I wanted to build another one! This time, I chose the Rolife Super Creator Daily Inspiration Cafe. And because Halloween is just around the corner, I added two mini ghosts (from the Target Dollar Spot) to add a bit of holiday flair!
With its charming coffee bar, deep green upholstered chairs and a rack of magazines, this idyllic cafe is exactly the kind of place where I’d spend a lazy afternoon with some coffee (or tea) and a good read.

Assembling my Rolife DIY Miniature Kit
The cuteness of the Rolife Super Creator Daily Inspiration Cafe was a big reason I chose it, but the simplicity of this kit also stuck out for me: Rolife rates this kit’s difficulty level at just 1 out of 5 stars—the kit only has 100 pieces.
As a miniature newbie and someone who doesn’t work on puzzles often, I wanted to make sure I could complete it without too much trouble. As it turns out, despite the fact that the Super Creator Cozy Living Lounge (that I completed earlier) has the same difficulty level, building this kit was much easier for me!

- An easy to read manual and well-sorted pieces. One feature I love about the Rolife Super Creator collection is how sturdy and simple the pieces are to fit together. Each kit includes a clear, step-by-step manual with simple illustrations that guide you through the build. Even better, the parts are sorted into clearly marked, coded bags, sparing you from spending extra time sorting through components.
- No glue or tools needed. My kit came with a pair of tweezers, but I was able to complete my kit without them. (I felt more confident working just with my hands.) All parts fit firmly together. Additionally, Rolife provides super-sticky adhesive stickers that can be used to keep the room’s furniture and decor in place.
- Kits for all experience levels. Being fairly new to building these kits, I was happy that the one I chose had fewer pieces that were straightforward to put together. I’ll work my way up to finishing a more challenging design eventually! Working on an easier kit made the whole experience more fun and chill for me.
- Amazing details. Rolife’s kits are filled with charming accents and decor that make them extra special.
Building the House
First, I snapped the room’s faux planked floor into the base, inserted the sturdy plastic walls, and slipped in the cardboard backdrops that create the room’s adorable interior and exterior walls. I then worked my way through the kit’s manual, building the room’s components bit by bit. Assembling the mini furniture and adding the stickers to the kit’s miniature picture frames and magazine forms was fun!
Once the room was complete, I attached the additional accessories that Rolife was so kind to provide me: a clear roof and two dust-proof doors. Together, they keep my cute little space perfectly clean and protected!
Then, I snapped the kit’s smart battery box into the back of one of the kit’s walls, installed the included light fixture to the ceiling and connected the light’s wire to the battery pack, which I plugged into a USB power strip with a USB-C charging cable.
I used the kit’s included connecting cable to connect this kit’s battery pack to the one at the back of my previously completed Super Creator miniature room—that way, my one USB-C cord can power both houses!
I have ghosts in both of my mini houses now—throughout the year I plan to switch out the figurines to match the seasons!
