Rolife Super Creator Cozy Living Lounge Kit—A Review

My family and I always enjoy spending an afternoon at an Asian-themed mall in Edison, NJ, near our home. There’s always something new to discover there, and on one of our recent trips, we wandered into a shop with an amazing display of Rolife DIY miniature kits. I had never seen such kits before and was instantly intrigued!

The shelves of the store were packed with all kinds of creative projects—from cozy little houses and stunning wooden flower arrangements to whimsical “Book Nooks,” miniature 3D scenes to tuck between the books on your shelf.

Ever since that visit, I’ve been fascinated by these miniature creations, so I was thrilled when I was gifted the Rolife Super Creator Cozy Living Lounge kit. Beginner friendly, the kit is a depiction of cool living space complete with a record player nestled in a post-modern-style media cabinet, an espresso machine, a bookshelf full of books, a comfortable couch, framed paintings and other decor. The Super Creator Cozy Living Lounge kit even comes complete with a chandelier and a goose-necked floor lamp that lights up when plugged into a power source.

I was also gifted a clear Super Creator Roof Accessories Package and two Rolife dust-proof doors to keep my completed creation absolutely dust free!

My new kit was the perfect excuse to take a mini break and enjoy some crafting!

Assembling this Rolife Miniature Room Kit—A Fun Afternoon

I was initially worried that my miniature room kit would be difficult to assemble, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well Rolife documents and explains everything. The Rolife Super Creator kit includes a beautiful instruction book with clear, step-by-step directions and detailed illustrations, making the entire process easy to follow. And the best part—no tools are required to assemble the kit, but a pair of really sturdy tweezers are included for handling some of the tiniest parts; I didn’t use them during my build, however.

Rolife logically organized all of the supplies in clearly labeled storage bags, so it’s simple to find the materials needed for each stage of the build. Every step in the instruction manual includes a corresponding visual and specifies exactly which bag contains the required pieces.

Several steps involve applying stickers—such as adding dust covers to the books or decorating the laptop—and each sticker and component is clearly numbered or otherwise identified in the manual. As a result, I never had any trouble locating the correct parts or figuring out what to do next.

The plastic floor and two walls for the main structure were super easy to fit together.

Everything slid into place easily!

This is what my kit looked like as I was nearing the end of the build. I completed it in about four hours, although I wasn’t working on it continuously—I was also watching TV with my husband along the way.

The kit also includes small, easy-to-apply adhesive dots and strips to keep items like the rug and the books on the bookshelf securely in place. The adhesive is surprisingly strong!

The attention to detail in this kit is incredible—from the realistic-looking book covers to the adorable stickers on the laptop and tablet. I feel like I’d be right at home in this cozy lounge, especially with the bookcase filled with DIY and recipe books! I also love the charming wall art, the green espresso maker and the retro record player, which all add so much personality to the space.

Customizing a Rolife Super Creator Miniature House Kit

The kit can be assembled just as shown above, or you can customize it by adding Rolife Super Creator accessory kits, like I did, to include a roof and/or doors. Ever since I finished building my room, I’ve been obsessed with watching TikTok creators assemble their own Rolife Super Creator kits. These adorable miniature rooms can be connected or stacked to create entire miniature houses and other creative structures!

I’ve seen a few creators add Calico Critters figurines to their rooms—the adorable animal figurines are the perfect size for the Super Creator series.

Installing the roof gave me the opportunity to add the included ceiling light fixture, providing an extra source of light for my miniature room. Attaching the clear doors was just as easy and took only about a minute! Once I installed the clear roof and doors, the room felt even more inviting when the lights were on, as the enclosed design enhanced the warm, cozy glow!

Now that I’ve created one Rolife Super Creator mini house, I would love to assemble another one! I have my eyes on the Rolife DIY Miniature Greenhouse Kit, a beautiful mini oasis filled with fantastic miniature plants, as well as the Rolife Fascinating Book Store Super Creator Miniature House.
