Before I started blogging on MomHomeGuide.com a few months ago, I knew very little about mom bloggers. When I sought home décor, DIY and decorating ideas, I mainly turned to consumer magazines, television programs on HGTV, and stories on HGTV.com.

But since reading other mom bloggers’ blogs, I’ve been doing most of my reading online and spending less money on magazine subscriptions. (Which is wonderful for me, because I am saving money AND creating less clutter in my home.)

I LOVE the ideas that these other mom bloggers have, and get tons of inspiration from their DIY, decorating and décor projects. I actually like most of these mom blogs better than magazine articles on the subject because mom bloggers are REAL – these moms are writing about their own homes and projects that they put their own hard work into – the posts aren’t written by some who’s sitting in an office trying to figure out what moms like. These bloggers already know what moms like me want to read about.
