I am loving fall this year! The colors and the warmer than usual temperatures have been perfect this season. One thing I love to do in the fall is enjoy a warm beverage when I take in the fall scenery, whether it is during a hike through the woods or while sitting in my home’s bay window enjoying a good book. So, when Coffee-Mate offered the opportunity to try out their new seasonal flavors, I jumped at the chance!
Among Coffee Mates new seasonal flavors are Dark Chocolate Fudge, Peppermint Mocha and Eggnog Latte. Yum! I can’t wait to try those out!
Fall Tea Break
This morning, I had some fall raking to do in the yard. The temperature dipped overnight here in New Jersey, so to warm myself up, I made one of my favorite fall beverages, hot chai tea. I had some Nestle Coffee-Mate Caramel Macchiato on hand, so I decided to flavor my tea with some of the Coffee-Mate Caramel Macchiato and a teaspoon or two of sugar. I was surprised at how much my caramel macchiato tea tasted like the delicious chai tea lattes that I like to get at my local coffee house! It looks like I can skip the coffee house now and make my tea lattes at home instead with my Coffee-Mate.

Autumn Fun
I hope to branch out and try some of Coffee-Mates other flavors, too! I drink flavored coffees on occasion, and I think I would enjoy my coffee with Coffee-Mate’s Dark Chocolate Fudge or Eggnog Latte flavors.
My kids might enjoy the Eggnog Latte or the Caramel Macciato flavors if I brewed them with some tea or some steamed milk. I could pack some in a thermos and take some with me on our next hike. We hiked through the beautiful Sayen Gardens here in Central New Jersey over the weekend, and I’d love to take the kids back there soon. My kids have a few days off from school this week, so I hope to pack a picnic with a Coffee-Mate brewed beverage and some cookies, apples and other treats for a fun outing with my kids!
One of the other days they have off, we can try out one of Coffee-Mate’s recipes. I was surprised to learn from the Coffee-Mate website that Coffee-Mate can be used in baking, too!
I think they would really enjoy making Coffee-Mate’s Easy Chocolate Fudge Bundt Cake — I have a bundt cake pan I haven’t used in years, so it would be great to put it to use!
Coffee-Mate’s seasonal flavors are available through December, so my kids and I are sure to have lots of fun dreaming up new Coffee-Mate beverage, cake and cookie recipes!
