My tween daughters, husband and I enjoyed a fun staycation together last week. A high point was when we spent the day at iPlay America in Freehold, NJ. We had a blast! iPlay America is a great staycation or local vacation spot. iPlay America has fun arcade games, games of chance, rides, go karts, bowling, laser tag and a 4D theater! My family and I started our day at iPlay America playing skee ball — I love skee ball! Eventually we found a claw crane game/machine that was filled with plush purple Minions. My husband won one right away and then worked at the game until he also won my other daughter a Minion! My daughters were so happy to go home with their Minions! (He also won a plush monkey for my kids, too!)
My girls had a blast playing video games (like Doodle Jump Arcade), while my husband loved a ski jump simulation video game!
My family and I also had a blast playing a few rounds of air hockey together. Although I have to say that I am no match against my husband — he is fierce on the air hockey table!
During our day at iPlay America, we discovered that iPlay America has great private party rooms, and even the Game Time Bar & Grill, where adults can enjoy craft beers and cocktails. I am thinking that iPlay America could be a great place to get a few families together for a fun party!
My family and I concluded our day at the boardwalk area of iPlay America, where there is plenty of delicious boardwalk-style food available. We shared some zeppoli and some funnel cake together — yum!
