I love getting together with friends, so when I was recently given a batch of KitchenIQ kitchen tools to share with friends, I immediately planned a party!
I held my party on a beautiful fall afternoon. It was such a gorgeous day! I invited a few friends over, plus their kids. I got to hang out with some good friends, and my daughters were able to have a fun afternoon with some of their friends — a win-win!
One of the beautiful tools I got to share with my friends is the KitchenIQ Edge Grip Knife Sharpener.
The Edge Grip Bottom makes the sharpener very stable when the sharpener is placed on the edge of your countertop — I really appreciate that! I am very accident prone, so I would no doubt slice myself if the sharpener wasn’t stable! This tool is also incredibly affordable at less than $6! I also like that this product — and all the KitchenIQ products I tried out — come in zesty green! I love that color!
I was totally psyched to receive the KitchenIQ Potato 3-in-1 Tool. My kids and I adore mashed potatoes, and this tool makes preparing our potatoes so much easier! The tool has a scrubbing brush, peeler and a paring tool (that fits into the tool’s handle) all in one! I like that I don’t have to take three separate tools out of the drawer when it’s time to prepare the potatoes!
I adore KitchenIQ’s Better Zester. I’ve had zesters before, but this zester is especially useful! The zester has V-etched teeth and a non-stick coating to make zesting especially simple. Most of all, I love how the zester catches all of the zest in the zester’s Fresh Zest Container. Pretty cool!
I was happy to tell my friends about these really awesome products! I gave each of my friends one Better Zester, and they were all thrilled! It turns out that none of my friends actually had a zester, so they were eager to bring their new zesters home!
I decided to try out the Better Zester for me and my friends by making one of my all-time favorite cookies, Lemon Sugar Cookies!
Thankfully, when I made my cookies, the zest ended up in the zester’s container instead of all over the counter! The zester made preparing my lemon sugar cookies so much easier! My recipe is below.
