Last week, my daughter had her last flute lesson of the year. My daughter has been taking flute lessons for five years. With her teacher’s guidance, my daughter has grown from an elementary school student who wasn’t sure she liked playing the flute to an accomplished musician. This year she even won a spot to play for a day with a regional student orchestra. I’m so proud of her!
For a Christmas gift, I had gifted her teacher with a beautiful mason jar bouquet that I had picked up at a local supermarket. Her teacher seemed to love the gift. I didn’t see anything like that bouquet this time around, so I put one together myself.

How to Make a DIY Mason Jar Bouquet
For the DIY mason jar and teacher appreciation gift, I picked up a bouquet at the supermarket. I found something that was called a “hummingbird bouquet.” The bouquet featured short stems — making the bouquet the perfect height to fit in a mason jar.
Once home, I filled a beautiful blue mason jar I had on hand with water and added the flowers. After that, all there was left to do was glue on a length of burlap ribbon around the mason jar.
This project was very easy, but I think it makes a simply sweet and beautiful gift!

I’m a Mason Jar type of girl, I have them scattered all over my house and of course, I use Mason Jars as a flower holder. Loving the addition of burlap, I would enjoy receiving this gift.
This is gorgeous! I love fresh flowers! That tinted mason jar is pretty, too!
