I am loving the yellow and green placemat pillows that I made for my brand-new La-Z-Boy sofa! These sofa throw pillows were so easy to make -- I simply made them by stuffing two-sided cloth placemats with pillow stuffing! Normally, I aim to get my garden started on Saint Patrick's Day. But since snow is forecasted for this Saint Patrick's Day, I think I will be prepping my garden and seed starting a little late this year! Happy Friday, everyone! I am still little bit behind on things, since I have been working on rehabbing my wrist (which I broke in January). I have been feeling a little down about the wrist (since I am not sure how the metal plate and screws will affect my wrist's mobility in the future), so I decided to share with you one of my favorite projects from last year. Over the past few months, I have been trying to make the switch from commercial cleaning and beauty products to more natural (and less expensive) homemade ones. Cold weather has hit New Jersey early this year. In my area, we’ve already have had snow (and one school snow day!), and the temps have been dipping way below freezing at night. Garage Organization (a Garage Pegboard)
Ever since my family and I have moved into our home, we've rarely parked in our garage. Our garage is so narrow that it takes VERY careful maneuvering to get our family's mini van into the garage! With winter only a few months away, however, I'd love to get the garage cleaned out enough so that if a major snowstorm is forecast, I can get the cars into the garage if I want to!
