Sometimes, little improvements go a long way in helping to complete a room. Last spring, it was a big home improvement -- brand-new bay and picture windows for my home's living room -- that gave my home's living room a much-improved look. I especially love the bay window because it brings in a lot of light, and my children love to do their reading for school there. Homeowners shopping for home décor have a great new tool available to them. Pinterest, the social media platform that debuted in March 2011, is perfect for home shoppers who are looking for decorating ideas and suggestions, and who need a place to see how those ideas work together. On the site, users can “pin” images that they like from across the Web to visual boards they create.
