With Valentine’s Day only about two weeks away, I am looking to decorate my home for Valentines Day! The kids love when we decorate our home for the holidays, and I like changing the decor in our home! Luckily, I can find Valentines Day craft ideas right here on Mom Home Guide, in the Spring Craft Blog Hop, which is still in session! (There is still time to link up your spring or Valentines Day craft!)
One Valentines Day craft I especially adore from the Spring Craft Blog Hop is Kim’s DIY Globe Valentine from Made in a Day. For globe enthusiasts, this Valentines Day decor is especially sweet! Kim used a Silhouette Cameo (I wish I had one of those!) to make her letters, but if you don’t have a Silhouette, you can easily purchase adhesive letters from Amazon or your local craft store.
I am a BIG fan of DIY scrapbook paper art, so I totally adore Bonnie’s Valentine specimen Art from The Pin Junkie! I might have to make some for my home! Perhaps I can add some Valentine specimen art to my scrapbook paper gallery wall!
Valentine Banners are always a lot of fun and are something your kids can enjoy making with you! I think my kids would have a blast making a Valentine’s Day banner like the two from Leaves and Stitches. All you need to make the banners are some pretty paper, a hole punch
and some ribbon!
Now that the trees are bare outside, I think the Valentine Sweet Tree from Candace of Lucky Scarf is perfect! I love how the red gumdrops lend extra color to the gold metallic spray painted tree branches!
I think felt valentine hearts are so sweet and fun to make, especially these DIY Felt Ornaments by Ashley of 3 Little Greenwoods!
Last but certainly not least is the book page heart Valentine from Across the Boulevard. For a book lover like myself, this is the perfect Valentine’s Day decor! (That is, if I can find a book I don’t mind cutting up!)
I’ll be sharing more of my favorites from the Spring Craft Blog Hop (#SCBH2015), so be sure to link up your craft or project! I’d love to see them! The hop runs through February 17!

The globe is so neat… I have been wanting to personalize a globe for awhile now, we have a few old ones laying around. I also love that tree with the hearts stuck on. Great picks!

Hi, Carrie! I love the globe, too. My daughter has one, but I doubt she’d want me to personalize it … will have to get mine own! LOL! Hope your week is going well!

I love the globe. We have a big globe that’s just sitting in our basement. I was going to use it for a homeschooling project but brought a wall map instead. I’m moving my globe up today and heading to hobby lobby to. Akeman it valentine pretty for our creative learning center.
