Fall begins next weekend, so on Saturday, I decorated my living room’s console table for fall! In my living room is a console table from Amazon that started out as an unfinished Unfinished Shaker Sofa Table from Amazon. I stained the top in walnut and painted the legs with yellow chalk paint for my sunny living room. The console table fits in well with my living room’s decor and gives me a fun spot to decorate every season.

Fall Farmhouse-Style Console Table

I wasn’t sure how I was going to decorate the console table this fall. I have been feeling thrifty lately and didn’t want to spend a lot on new decor. Luckily, when I went to the dollar store, I found some really cute metal fall words (“Thankful,” “Welcome” and “Harvest.”) My friend, Carrie of Curly Crafty Mom was the one who told me about the fun metal decor. I was happy to find them at my dollar store. I figure it’s a great find for just $1! I often go to the dollar store when I’m looking for inexpensive seasonal decor.

Also on my fall console table is a natural wood bead garland that Carrie made for me. She gave the garland to me as a “roomie” gift when we went to the Haven blog conference over the summer. I like the beautiful simplicity of the beads and love that they were made by a good friend!

I added a beautiful copper Anderson Lilley candle that I received in one of my FabFitFun boxes to the console table. The copper tone of the candle reminds me of fall leaves. On my table I have a rustic wood round and burlap table runner that I’ve used quite a bit this year on my console table.

After I went to the dollar store, I visited the dollar spot at Target. The dollar spot is a front section of the store where Target often puts cute, inexpensive seasonal items. At my Target, the items are usually priced between $1 and $3. In that section, I got my pretty white wooden pumpkin, metal and wood “gather” sign, and the adorable “Hello Fall” farmhouse-style sign. That sign has been popping up in my Instagram feed this week!

I really like the pattern and rustic look of the flat wooden pumpkin. The almost Buffalo check pattern on top of the “Hello Fall” sign is sweet!

Across the street from my local Target is a Ross store where I often look when I’m shopping for seasonal decor. There I happened upon a home is where the paw is string art photo frame for only $5. My family’s 10-month-old Shih Tzu is a much-loved member of our family, so I had to snatch up that sign! In the frame I put a photo of our puppy that I had taken on our vacation this summer at Keuka Lake in upstate New York. The photo represents a good memory. (I took the photo on a dock in Hammondsport, NY, a beautiful lakeside town.)

Now that I’ve completed my fall living room console table, I’ll have to decorate the rest of my home for autumn!

I love all of it, but especially that “gather” sign! Such great fall neutrals, I feel like this is really doable decor!

I just love that white palette pumpkin you found in Target’s dollar spot. I checked a couple of their dollar spots last week and all of the Fall stuff was gone, except for a few pumpkins. They must have put it out really early this year. I love that rose gold candle from FabFitFun, too! You’re too sweet to mention me in your post. Those metal phrases are the cutest and for a $1 it really was a steal, I am so glad that lady sent me them! I love seeing the wooden beaded garland I gave you on the table, too! I need to go into Ross, I still haven’t! That puppy frame is perfect. 🙂

Hi Lauren! I love all of the little touches on your fall console table. Carrie is so sweet, isn’t she? I have a Gather sign that I found at Home Goods, and it looks very similar to the one you have. Don’t you just love it?
