Today I am joining my blogging friends to share upcycled crafts! I enjoy suncatcher crafts, so I made a quick and easy suncatcher using a mason jar ring, small iridescent plastic beads, clear Duck tape and some string. I found all these items in my home. This is a fun craft to complete with kids.
Be sure to check all my blogging friends’ projects, too! (You can see thumbnail photos of their projects at the end of this post, or click on the links below.)

Mason Jar Ring Suncatcher Ring Craft (How to)
Making this mason jar ring suncatcher craft couldn’t be easier! I first found a clean large mason jar ring.
I then taped pieces of Duck tape across the top of the mason jar ring.
I sprinkled some of my mini beads on top of the tape.
I then snuck a piece of thread between a gap between the duck tape and the mason jar ring and knotted it to form a loop.
I finished up by covering the beads with an extra layer of Duck tape to secure them.
And my super easy suncatcher craft was done!
Hanging My DIY Mason Jar Suncatcher Ring Craft
I hung my new suncatcher in my bay window, where I also have hanging a suncatcher that I got during a summer trip to Vermont.
I like the extra color and brightness that this easy to make suncatcher adds to the window!
Never mind that I still have snowflake decals on my bay window. I just haven’t gotten around to taking them down yet!
