New Living Room Design
A new sofa is due to arrive soon for my home’s living room, so I have been working on designing a new living room design scheme for our "new" living room! With the exception of a piano and some toy chests, our living room has never had much in it -- it's always been more of an open play space for the kids! Sewing Homemade Pillows and Valences
Now that St. Patrick's Day is coming up, it might be time to pull out my sewing machine and stitch some handmade valances for my daughters' hall bathroom. I've gotten into the habit of making homemade seasonal valances for our home's bathrooms ever since I got my sewing machine as a gift a few years ago. My husband bought the machine for me because I used to get my fingers bloody when I used to hand sew my daughters' patches on their Girl Scout uniforms.
