Hello! Mother’s Day is only a few days away, so I thought I’d share a few recipes for Mother’s Day. These are all easy to put together and can help make Sunday an extra-special day for the moms in your life! Also be sure to visit this month’s Taste Creations post, in which my blogging friends and I share a few recipes for the big day—I share my easy queso recipe!
Make Mom Some Homemade Waffles With This Recipe

A fun way to get the day started would be to surprise mom with breakfast in bed—you could make my homemade waffles! All you need is an electric waffle maker; you can get a cute and effective Dash Mini Waffle Maker for only about $10.

You could top the waffles with fresh strawberries or blueberries and some whipped cream or even add some chocolate chips!
Bake Up Some Donuts for Mom
If your mom has a sweet tooth, why not bake up some homemade donuts! Making donuts at home is really quite easy if you have a donut pan—you can use my cinnamon roll donut recipe. These are sure to put a smile on everyone’s faces and aren’t hard at all to make!
Whip Up Some Mother’s Day Bubble Teas

My kids and I love bubble teas and we like to make them at home together! You just need to use your favorite tea (like black, matcha or cha tea), some boba (you can even get boba pearls on Amazon), a bit of sugar and your favorite dairy or non-dairy milk. We like to serve our boba teas in mason jars with wide straws for slurping up the boba!
Toss a Grilled Salmon Salad with Cilantro Lime Dressing
Now that the weather is warming up, I am sure the mom (or moms) in your life might enjoy gathering on your patio with loved ones to enjoy a meal together. So why not fire up the grill and cook up a healthy and delicious dish? One of my favorites is this green salad with salmon, avocado and tomato. It is really quite tasty and your mom will he happy knowing that she’s eating something healthy.
Make a Fruity Dessert for Mother’s Day

If you are looking for a super easy and delicious dessert to make for your mom, make my fresh strawberry coffee cake! It is so easy to put together and is incredible—my twins like it so much they request it every year for their birthday! One of the best parts of the dessert is all the fresh strawberries you get to eat!

I made my recipe even better by not only including strawberries in the cake batter, but also adding them to the delicious crumb topping too!
Here’s hoping that everyone has a happy Mother’s Day!
