My blogging friends and I launched the A Little Bit of Everything Link Up last week, and it was a lot of fun! We are back posting a new Wednesday link up this week! Hey, everyone! I have some time today, so I am sharing my Monday Favorites early! How is your weekend going? I am having an enjoyable weekend with my twin tweens and husband. My girls enjoyed celebrating a friend's birthday and I got to spend time with a good friend of mine! It's always nice to spend the weekend with friends! Today is a fun day, because it's when I share the wonderful projects, crafts and recipes that were shared at last Wednesday's A Little Bit of Everything Link Up Party! I really loved Stephanie of Casa Watkins' tutorial on how to make over a thrift/dollar store Continue reading...
Monday Favorites (April 27) – Link Up Party Picks
Happy Monday, everyone! Today is a fun day because today is a day where I showcase projects from other bloggers that were shared at last Wednesday's A Little Bit of Everything Link Up party! The party, held every Wednesday here on Mom Home Guide, is an opportunity for bloggers to share their recent crafts, recipes and projects. I will be hosting some parties this spring and summer, so I was glad to see Carrie of Curly Crafty Mom's recipe for Mint Julep! Carrie is a great blogging friend and her blog is a fun collection of recipes, fashion tips and DIY projects! She has a new series Continue reading...
Monday Favorites (April 20) Link Up Party Picks
It was so beautiful outside yesterday! I spent much of the day doing outdoor tasks -- weeding, cleaning and sweeping the patio and clearing out old sunflower and lily stalks from my perennial garden. I didn't realize how much effort I spent, because I am really wiped out! So today, I am going to sit back, relax, and share the work of some of my favorite blogger contributions to last week's A Little Bit of Everything Link Up Party! I really like the recipe for Buffalo Chicken Crackers from Must Have Mom. I plan to host a few spring/summer parties this year, so I will have to put these on Continue reading...
Monday Favorites (April 13)
Happy Sunday, everyone! I had some free time this morning, so I am sharing my Monday Favorites early! Today I am sharing my faves from last Wednesday's A Little Bit of Everything Link Up Party . There were so many great projects and recipes shared! If you haven't stopped by last week's A Little Bit of Everything Link Up Party, be sure to stop by! Jenn of The Art of Better shared her post, Unexpected Expenses After Buying Our First Home. In the post, she details how after she moved into her new home, she had to spend more than $13,000 for much needed items for her new place. It shows that Continue reading...
Monday Favorites – Link Up Party Picks (April 6)
Hey, everyone! Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! Today I am sharing my favorite projects that were shared at last Wednesday’s A Little Bit of Everything Link Up Party. Shirley of Beachwood Place shared her beautiful dining room. I just love the big rustic dining table, the woven chairs and the gorgeous chandelier. I don't have a formal dining room, but my eat-in kitchen has a large dining area, and I'd love to glam it up like this! Sharla of The Chaos and the Clutter blog shared her recipe for One Pot Cajun Chicken Alfredo - made with goat cheese. Yum! I adore goat Continue reading...
Monday Favorites – Link Up Party Faves (March 30)
Hey, everyone! Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! Today I am sharing my favorite projects that were shared at last Wednesday’s A Little Bit of Everything Link Up Party. Now that it's spring, I am looking for a new purse! So I adore the Easy Criss-Cross Purse Pattern by A Princess and Her Cowboys. The purse looks very versatile and not too difficult to make! I also really liked Vegging at the Shore's tutorial on how to use overripe bananas. In my house, everyone only likes to eat bananas when they are still a little green, so we always have some overripe bananas that we have Continue reading...
