Now that the school year is here, I am hoping to better manage my kids' nutrition by making lunch for my daughters most school days. In the past, I used to let them buy lunch, since they liked their school's lunches. But, it turns out that this year, my daughters would rather bring in their own lunches, so I am happy! It seems that the appeal of the school's lunches have worn off for my daughters. They also don't like the long lines they have to stand in to purchase a lunch. When I pack a lunch for them, they get to choose their seat in the lunchroom earlier, and get started on their Continue reading...

Thanks to Flexispot for providing me with the desk reviewed in this post. This post contains affiliate links. I started a new full time job as a content writer at the end of September. My physical therapist tells me that it's not good to be sitting all day. So when I was given the chance to try out the Kana Pro Standing Desk ($499.99) by Flexispot, I jumped at the chance. My new standing desk has turned out to be Continue reading...

Spring Forsythia Wreath
TGiF, everyone! This week has been a rough one in my household. We all have been hit with a nasty cold! So for today, I am going to put up my feet a little bit and feature one of my favorite past projects here on Mom Home Guide. I am featuring my quick and easy spring forsythia dollar store wreath. I love the happy yellow and pretty blue colors of this wreath! I first hung this colorful dollar store wreath on my home's front door, but it is now on the wall in the master bedroom above the room's farmhouse-style spindle bed. Sometimes it's the simplest of wreaths that are the prettiest. I love Continue reading...
