Once a month, my friend, Carrie of Curly Crafty Mom, and I each set a goal for ourselves and share our goals on our blogs. It’s fun tracking the goals we’ve set and seeing what we have accomplished over the past few months! This year, I’ve been invited by Treetopia, an online seller of faux Christmas trees, garlands and holiday decorations, to decorate one of their Christmas trees in a blog hop with a few other bloggers! The blog hop is a lot of fun! For the hop, I will be Continue reading...
Fun Fall Decorating Ideas
Thanks to Oriental Trading for providing me with the Thanksgiving pumpkins shared in this post. I was provided free decor items in exchange for my honest review. Earlier this week, I've shared some of the ways I've decorated my home for fall this year and previous years. I do a lot of decorating, so I still have a lot of fall decor ideas to share! I thought I'd share more of the ways I've decorated my home for fall this year and other years. One of the first and easiest wreaths I've made is my fall grapevine wreath. I simply wrapped a chevron ribbon around a grapevine wreath to create Continue reading...
Fall Decorating Ideas
Happy Monday, everyone! I love fall decorating. So far this season, I've decorated my living room console table for fall, and have made a DIY fall welcome sign for my home's front porch. I'd love to do some more fall decorating. But before I do, I thought it would be fun to share some of the ways I've decorated my home for fall this year and previous years. My DIY fall welcome sign is my most recent fall decorating project. I made the sign with some wood, chalk paint and crafting supplies I already had on hand. In all, this decor project only took me about an hour! Last year I Continue reading...

I love this time of year – Thanksgiving, autumn colors and leaves, cooler days and get-togethers with family and friends. The long Thanksgiving weekend is a fun one for my family. Good friends have invited us to their place this Thanksgiving for dinner. So we take advantage of the weekend to host fun times at home with much loved family and friends. To prep for Thanksgiving entertaining at our house, I cleaned and Continue reading...
Fall Owl & Pumpkin Wreath {12 Months of Wreaths}
Welcome back to 12 Months of Wreaths! Each month, I get together with some of my blogging friends to craft a new seasonal wreath! This month I crafted a super easy owl and pumpkin seasonal wreath. DIY Fall Gallery Wall
I love decorating my home for the seasons. My decor isn't always planned -- sometimes I go where my whims take me. Recently, a trip to my local Target store spurred a new DIY fall gallery wall in my home's living room! For me, my home is one big craft/art project! Luckily my hubby doesn't complain about it much. When I shop at Target, I love stopping at my local store's dollar spot area. On one recent trip, I was lucky enough to snag an inexpensive blank pallet-style wooden sign, a wooden "Family" cutout, some silver and gold fall-themed transfer stickers, and some wooden autumn leaves. I Continue reading...

Fall Bucket List Jars – Yogurt Jar Crafts
Today I am joining some of my blogging friends in sharing fall crafts made with glass yogurt jars! For my craft, I used two glass yogurt jars to create two fall bucket list jars. I hope to use the jars to track fun fall activities that my husband, kids and I want to do together this autumn. The jars are filled with pretty wooden pumpkin-shaped tokens on which we can write the fun things we want to do this fall. (Like bake a homemade apple pie!) Fall Bucket List Jar Supplies My daughters and I recently picked out some yogurts -- we have all been aiming to have a healthier diet this fall. Continue reading...

No-Sew Pineapple Pillows
*This post contains Amazon affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase, I earn a small commission that helps to fund this blog. Thanks! I love changing the throw pillows on my living room's sofa. The room is the first room when entering my family's home. I like to decorate the space frequently throughout the year to reflect the seasons! Since I'm a busy and thrifty mom, I like to make my pillows as quickly and as inexpensively as possible. I've found one of the best ways to make a pillow with next to no sewing is to stuff double-sided placemats. By stuffing a placemat, I Continue reading...
