This post contains Amazon affiliate links. Friday, everyone! TGIF! This week went by quickly though, I have to admit! I am looking forward to the weekend and hope to squeeze some time in with my family. (My teen girls have a very busy social calendar!) Today I am sharing a #FridayFive post, in which I'll share a little of what I was up to this week! #LexusPetSafety Last Saturday, Shih Tzu pup, Mochi, and I attend the Lexus Pet Safety Event (#LexusPetSafety) at the Haldeman Lexus of Princeton. At the event were demonstrations on pet safety and care by expert dog trainer Nicole Ellis (who Continue reading...
Fall Decor for a Small Front Porch
This post contains Amazon affiliate links. Welcome to the October Pinterest Challenge! Every month my blogging friends and I get together to share projects inspired by Pinterest. This month I'm sharing my fall decorations for a small front porch. I love decorated front porches. Sadly, my porch is quite small and doesn't have a lot of room for decor So I'm always looking for ideas that can make a big impact in a tight space. My porch this month was inspired by the small front porch featured by Crating Chicks. I liked how the simple crate adds dimension to the decor, and I love the addition Continue reading...
Friday Five — What I’m Reading & Fall Decorating
This post contains Amazon affiliate links. Happy Friday, everyone! This week flew by so quickly, but I'm not complaining that the weekend is here! Today I'm sharing a Friday Five, a quick roundup of what I've been up to lately. Waterproof Dog Boots My family and I have owned our Shih Tzu puppy, Mochi, for about 8 months now. We’ve learned that puppies can be messy! Our house is filled with carpeting, so I’m always looking for ways to keep the floors clean. I recently received two sets of Pawz Water-Proof Dog Boots (in extra small). The boots go on relatively easily (after I got the hang Continue reading...

Decorating a Living Room Bay Window
I received the pillows described in this post for free in exchange for my honest review. A few years ago my husband and I had a bay window installed in our living room. For a while, I was unsure as to how to dress up the window. I have been meaning to make a custom window seat cushion for the space, but haven't gotten around to it yet! In the meantime, I've found a much easier (and quicker) way to dress up a bay window. At first, I only had a simple cushion that I had sewed on the window seat. At the time, the cushion matched the color scheme of the curtains that I had in the Continue reading...
