*This post contains Amazon.com affiliate links. I am going to the Haven Conference this week, so I have been very busy packing and getting ready! But before I leave for the conference, I want to share with you what I did with the framed scrapbook art I created – I made a new gallery wall for my newly furnished living room! I'd love to show you how to create your own gallery wall! I just love how my new living room came out! The room used to be pretty much empty and only housed a piano and two toy chests. Now, it's a spot where my daughters and I like to sit and read, or look out the Continue reading...

Summer Patio: Hot Shot Insecticides
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hot Shot® Insecticides. I love summer, but I don't like the increase of bugs and insects it brings to my home! It's as if summer signals vacation time to the critters, and my house is their vacation home! So, when I was offered the chance to try out Hot Shot® insecticides, I jumped at the chance! I don't want those pests to make my patio their home sweet home! My husband and I put in a really great paver patio a few years ago. It's a wonderful place for our wrought iron patio set and for our new Weber gas grill -- I am becoming a bit of a Continue reading...

#GoDaddy0365 Giveaway
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of GoDaddy for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. As a blogger and the owner of Mom Home Guide, I am a small business owner. Being a small business owner can be overwhelming at times, considering all the frustrating technical issues I sometimes face, from how to share documents with other bloggers, how to handle business-related email and hosting online meetings. I was glad I got to try out Office 365 from GoDaddy, because it’s a great solution for small business owners like me who don’t have an IT department. What’s even better is that Continue reading...

Framed Scrapbook Paper Art
Hey, everyone! Are you ready for summer? I sure am! To get ready for summer, I decided to add some colorful art to my home’s living room. I recently redesigned my home’s living room and I am having fun bringing fun prints and colors into the room. I didn’t want to pay a lot for new art for the room, so I decided to make my own custom DIY art with scrapbook paper! To get started with my scrapbook paper art, I looked for scrapbook paper in colors that make me feel happy! I found some great scrapbook paper on sale at my local craft store for just $5 a pack! Can't beat that. The Continue reading...
4th of July Wreath Tutorial
Hey, everyone! The Fourth of July is almost here, so I though I'd share a really easy patriotic 4th of July wreath tutorial. You can make this red, white and blue wreath with your kids using inexpensive supplies from the dollar store! I actually made this patriotic Fourth of July wreath last year with my kids, and I can't wait to put it back up on the front door! My kids and I love to decorate our front door for the holidays throughout the year, so we needed a Fourth of July wreath. Since we didn't already have a red, white and blue wreath, we picked up some supplies from our local Continue reading...
