Planning a Kitchen Remodel
If you've been following this blog, you probably know that I've taken steps to update the look of my home's kitchen. I've repainted most of the oak cabinets white. (I just have a few more to paint.) I've purchased some new cabinet hardware to install. I've made small changes like organizing drawers and installing inexpensive tile under the kitchen sink. I'd love to change out the flooring and the counter, too. A good blogging friend of mine is doing a complete kitchen remodel -- I have to admit I'm a bit jealous! If you are considering a DIY kitchen remodel or if you are thinking of having Continue reading...
Spring Living Room Update on a Budget
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #GladeFineFragranceMist #CollectiveBias My living room is the first space guests see when entering my home. I like to have it at its best at all times. I recently decided to give my living room an inexpensive update for the new year. I’ve found several simple ways to freshen up the space without spending a lot of money. One way I create a new look is by updating the throw pillows on the sofa. I regularly sew easy budget envelope pillow covers for my sofa’s pillows. These throw Continue reading...
Hall Framed Canvas Gallery Wall
Thanks to Photowall.com and VELCRO® Brand HANGables™ for sponsoring this post. I received free product in exchange for my honest review. If you've visited this blog before, you might know that my family has adopted a puppy! Our pup, whom we've named Mochi, is an adorable approximately 4-month-old male Shih Tzu. He has become part of the family! I've been wanting to create a family gallery wall for some time now. I thought that now that there is a new family member in our house, now would be a good time to start that gallery wall. I decided a good space for the gallery wall was Continue reading...

Easy Attic Flooring with Attic Dek
This post was sponsored by Attic Dek, who provided me with Attic Dek flooring in exchange for my review. This post contains Amazon affiliate links. If you click on an Amazon link and make a purchase, it doesn't cost you anything, but I earn a small commission that helps me to run this blog. Thanks! Ever since my husband and I moved into our new home about 15 years ago, I've wanted to put flooring in our home's attic. Our attic wasn't built with flooring, so until recently, we didn't store anything in our home's attic. It was such a waste of good storage space! My husband meant to put in Continue reading...
How to Host a Fun Girls Movie Night
This post is intended for an audience of adults age 21 and older. This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and Bacardi. All opinions are mine alone. #SignatureSips #CollectiveBias If you are like me, you’ve gone to a few movies in 2017. But you probably missed the “mom” or “chick” flicks you wanted to see. That’s because you most likely saw the latest action/sci-fi or animated movies with your husband and kids. I think it would be fun to get together with a few friends and watch some of the 2017 movies that moms loved last year. During the party, my husband can take the Continue reading...
Easy and Delicious Game Day Party Spread
This post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx.com. I like getting friends and family together to watch the big game. But while I love watching the game with a crowd of friends and family, I don't always enjoy cooking for a big crowd. I came up with a delicious and easy food spread that I can serve for the big football game without spending too much time in the kitchen. RAGÚ Sauces I often feel that a delicious sauce makes a meal and makes just about everything taste great! So, I'll add some RAGÚ ® Old World Style Traditional Sauce and RAGÚ® Double Cheddar Sauce to my Continue reading...
Wood Slice Valentine’s Day Tokens
This post contains Amazon affiliate links. TGIF, everyone! I am so happy that the weekend is nearly here! This week has been quite a busy one, so I thought I'd share a mini project I completed this week! Earlier this week I shared my tutorial for my Scrappy Valentine's Day Wreath. The wreath was really quite thrifty since I repurposed leftover craft materials from Christmas. It doesn't always work out when I create a craft project out of supplies I already have on hand, so I'm excited about how my wreath turned out! I even used a bow from a gift basket my family received on this Continue reading...
