Once a month, my friend Carrie of Curly Crafty Mom and I both set a monthly goal for ourselves. It's a great way to get things accomplished. It's been rough for me lately. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of June and had a lumpectomy in August. I most likely will be doing treatment for my breast cancer this fall. So, I'm making my goal this month an easy one. I hope to hang some photo canvases and artwork that have been waiting to be hung in my home. I have quite a few framed art pieces that I have been meaning to put on the walls. Hanging Custom Art Canvases The newest Continue reading...

I love changing the throw pillows on my living room's sofa. The room is the first room when entering my family's home. I like to decorate the space frequently throughout the year to reflect the seasons! Since I'm a busy and thrifty mom, I like to make my pillows as quickly and as inexpensively as possible. I've found one of the best ways to make a pillow with next to no sewing is to stuff double-sided placemats. By stuffing a placemat, I Continue reading...

I chose to get a two-pack of faux grass potted in white rectangular wooden planters. I like how the white brightens up the space, and I enjoy seeing some greenery in the middle of winter. Since Continue reading...
